Organizations like yours that use Lotus Notes, QuickPlace, or Domino.Doc as their workflow tool, collaborative application, and document management platform are moving to SharePoint 2007 for this functionality. Moving your applications from Notes to the SharePoint platform can be done more quickly and cost effectively that you think. In this BOF we will discuss how you can reliably transition your Notes applications to the SharePoint platform. We explore best practices for recomposing your Notes applications in SharePoint in ways that leverage the power of the SharePoint platform. We will dig into how common Notes constructs might be rebuilt on SharePoint, including complex forms, views, workflow logic and more. We also will cover automated migration of standard Notes application content and advanced migration of complex custom Notes applications using state of the art tools.
